We are seeking a social media intern, who is full of creative ideas and eager to contribute on a large scale. The social media Intern will assist the development of our client’s social media channels and execute content marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will assist in the development of content for social platforms, study data visualization trends, and assist in social media strategic development. This person will work closely with the social media team to ensure that social media content is produced in a professional, timely and efficient manner.


  • Help build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Collaborate with other departments (public relations, sales etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions


  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Efficiency at MS Office
  • Passion for the social media industry and its best practices
  • Current enrollment in a related BS or Masters university/college
