Project Overview
A client for many years, Conard initially came to ImageWorks looking for help on how to best improve their site.
After doing some industry research and analysis, three areas of expertise were focused on, and a new site was created with particular attention to UX, design, and content.
Research that fed into the project defined how the site should be architected, and SEO and Inbound techniques were implemented as well.
The result? A Smashing success. Conard remains at the top of their industry among Google’s Search Engine Results, and the client has returned to augment the site traffic with a full inbound audit and implementation of a Pay Per Click campaign as well.

Conard was founded in 1965 in Glastonbury, CT and has continuously specialized in photo etching — also known as Photo Chemical Machining (PCM) or chemical etching. The founder, Richard C. Huttinger, was a metallurgist and engineer who had previously worked for both Boeing and Pratt & Whitney. Huttinger, working from his garage with his wife, developed a process to chemically mill the surface of forged aluminum propellor hubs for Pratt & Whitney. This process was more efficient and cost effective than conventional milling in the days before CNC machining was widely available.
