Project Overview
The Micinnis Cement project needed to provide company information while promoting an environmentally conscious message. With the company’s core service based out of one facility, the website was designed around high resolution imagery that could visually communicate the facility’s clean, efficient operation.
New content was created, with an easy-to-navigate menu that provides recent press for users looking for an update of Micinnis’s latest activity. Multi-language support is another core feature of the site. Users can press a button that will translate all links, menus, and pages from English to French. Magnifique!

The history behind the company and the facility begins when a group of investors learned that a natural deposit of extremely pure limestone lay on the beautiful shores of the Gulf of St-Lawrence in baie des Chaleurs, Quebec. Recognizing that a modern cement plant situated next to such a massive limestone deposit and an ocean port where the waters never freeze could be a fantastic investment opportunity and bring great economic benefit to the area and the Province. Thus was created McInnis Cement in 2011. With determination, the New Cement Company was established, allowing the revival of the project and the construction of the 2.2 million metric ton annual capacity plant.
